St Marys Catholic School

Michael Jarrett and Mark Smith teach at St Marys.  The students are heavily involved in opening cermonies of various funtions and events throughout the region.  In 2007 the students learnt two traditional songs that they can sing in Gumbaynggirr.

The students have sung and danced at:

* Opening of the DAA office in Coffs Harbour.

* Book launch of Aunty Jessie Williams book held at Muurrbay.

* Opening ceremony at the Xavier Rudd concert.

These are just a few of the many events the students have attended and performed at. Well done!
